Why we include niacinamide

A study of a different moisturizer with 5% niacinamide found improvements in several signs of skin ageing over 12 weeks.

What this means for your cream

These studies help explain our ingredient choices. They did not test Koppā’s cream or show how long its hydration lasts.

GHK-Cu — laboratory evidence. Maquart et al., 1988 — FEBS Letters. The study measured collagen synthesis in cultured cells, not the effects of this cream.

Niacinamide — human evidence. Bissett et al., 2005 — Dermatologic Surgery. Fifty white women used 5% niacinamide moisturizer and vehicle control on opposite sides of the face, twice daily for 12 weeks, in a randomized double-blind trial. Several appearance measures improved. The moisturizer was not Koppā’s.

Ingredient research does not verify this cream’s hydration duration, capsule stability, enhanced penetration or prolonged release.

How do I use a copper peptide moisturizer every day?

What do the visible blue capsules do?

The blue capsules contain the formula’s GHK-Cu. Massage disperses their contents through the moisturizing base. Visible dispersal does not by itself establish enhanced penetration or prolonged release.

Do I need the serum too?

No. The cream can be used as your daily moisturizer on its own. If using the complete Koppā Protocol, apply serum first, then cream, then balm on selected areas.

Can I use it with my other actives?

If you already use retinoids or exfoliating acids, introduce combinations gradually. If you prefer to separate low-pH pure vitamin C, use vitamin C in the morning and GHK-Cu in the evening.

Does the cream contain synthetic fragrance?

No. Koppā’s Advanced Capsule Cream is formulated without synthetic fragrance.

What research supports the cream’s ingredients?

GHK-Cu has laboratory research on collagen synthesis. A separate 12-week controlled human study examined a moisturizer containing 5% niacinamide. These are ingredient-level references, not tests of Koppā’s finished cream. See the research and references above.
