The Koppā protocol

The complete 3-step GHK-Cu skincare routine

Layer Koppā from lightest to richest: 2% GHK-Cu Serum, 0.5% GHK-Cu Moisturizing Cream, then 0.5% GHK-Cu Balm Stick where you want extra moisture. Each step has a distinct role, and you can use one formula or the complete routine.

The principle

Lightest to richest

Each texture earns its place in the routine.

Apply water-based formulas before richer moisturisers and balms. This gives each step an even layer without asking a heavier texture to sit underneath a lighter one. You can use the three together, or stop after the step that meets your skin's needs.

  1. 01

    Treat: 2% GHK-Cu Serum

Apply 3 to 4 drops to clean, dry skin on the face and neck. This is the lightest, peptide-focused first layer. Let it settle before the next step. See the Serum and full directions.

  2. 02

    Nourish: 0.5% GHK-Cu Moisturizing Cream

Smooth a pea-sized amount over the serum and massage gently until the blue capsules disperse. The moisturising formula combines GHK-Cu with 5% niacinamide, squalane and other barrier-supporting ingredients. See the Moisturizing Cream.

  3. 03

    Seal: 0.5% GHK-Cu Balm Stick

Finish with a thin layer on dry or targeted areas such as the neck, under-eye contour, hands or expression lines. The water-free balm adds jojoba, squalane and meadowfoam seed oil without replacing your daily sunscreen. See the Balm Stick.

Morning: finish with broad-spectrum sunscreen. If you use retinoids, exfoliating acids or direct L-ascorbic acid, follow each product's directions and separate them from GHK-Cu when compatibility is unclear.

Why three formats

One active. Three different jobs.

The routine is structured by texture and use area, not by adding unnecessary steps.

Serum: broad coverage

A lightweight first layer for face and neck, with the highest stated GHK-Cu concentration in the range.

Cream: daily moisture

The moisturising step, with 5% niacinamide and squalane alongside visible GHK-Cu capsules.

Balm: targeted occlusion

A portable, water-free final layer for areas that need extra comfort or a formula that stays where it is applied.

Ingredient research is not a Protocol trial

The distinction matters.

Published work provides context for GHK-Cu, niacinamide, ceramides and moisturising ingredients. Human evidence for topical GHK-Cu is limited, and no published clinical trial has tested the finished Koppā Serum, Moisturizing Cream, Balm Stick or three-step Protocol. Koppā therefore describes cosmetic appearance and feel, not treatment or guaranteed results.12

Routine questions

The Koppā protocol, explained

Do I need all three Koppā products?

No. The Serum is the lightweight treatment step, the Moisturizing Cream is a daily moisturiser, and the Balm Stick is for targeted dry areas. Choose the format that fills a real gap in your routine.

Can I use the Koppā Protocol every day?

The products are designed for daily cosmetic use when used as directed. Introduce new skincare gradually, and reduce frequency or stop if irritation occurs.

What order should I use the products in?

Serum first, Moisturizing Cream second, Balm Stick last on targeted areas. In the morning, sunscreen is the final step.

Is the routine suitable for the neck and chest?

The Serum directions include face and neck. The Moisturizing Cream can moisturise the neck, and the Balm Stick can be used on targeted intact skin. Protect exposed areas with sunscreen.

What the research can and cannot tell us
