Editorial and sourcing policy | Koppā

Koppā publishes ingredient explanations, skincare guides and product information to help readers make informed choices. This page sets out how we present research and product facts.

How we use scientific sources

We link research claims to the original paper when available. Where a finding is available through a review, conference abstract, book chapter or company report, we identify that source. Our GHK-Cu evidence table records the study design, participants, duration, comparison and reported finding.

Ingredient research and product testing

Laboratory studies explain possible ingredient mechanisms. Human studies describe the formulations and conditions tested. Koppā product testing is identified separately by product and test. A supplier specification describes the raw ingredient, not the finished product.

Clear claims and practical guidance

Product descriptions use cosmetic language such as smoother-looking skin, hydration and the appearance of fine lines. Concentration, pack size, ingredients and use instructions should agree with the product label and current product record. Comparisons identify the attributes being compared and their sources.

Ownership and commercial interests

Koppā is operated by Shapelab FZC, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Koppā sells the skincare discussed on this site. Product recommendations therefore have a commercial interest. Where source authors disclose affiliations or funding, these are recorded in the evidence table when available.

Authors and review dates

Journal articles show the author and publication date, with an updated date when the saved article changes. An updated date does not by itself mean a new clinical review. A qualified reviewer is named only when that person has actually reviewed the material.

Questions and corrections

If you spot an incorrect product fact, broken source or research statement that needs checking, contact Koppā with the page URL, the statement and a supporting source. Corrections are made in the relevant content and reflected in its current record.
