The koppā buying guide

Best Copper Peptide Routine of 2026: Nine Brands Compared

Nine brands that sell more than one copper peptide product, compared as whole routines: which copper ingredient each step uses, whether each step states a percentage, fragrance, price in US dollars and UAE dirhams, and returns. We make koppā, and our pick is koppā's Protocol: the only routine we found where the serum, the moisturiser and the balm each state their GHK-Cu percentage. It does not win every category, and the scorecard names who does.

The koppā GHK-Cu Protocol: 2% GHK-Cu Serum, 0.5% GHK-Cu Moisturizing Cream and 0.5% GHK-Cu Balm Stick

A copper peptide routine uses copper peptide in more than one step, usually a serum and a moisturiser. Brands describe the copper in very different ways, so a list of products is not enough to compare them. Of nine brands checked on 6 November 2026, seven name a copper ingredient in two or more products. Only three state a percentage in more than one step: koppā, Skingenetix and COSRX. Only koppā states one in a serum, a moisturiser and a balm.

Our picks

Summary of recommendations

Best complete copper peptide routine overall: koppā GHK-Cu Protocol (our own)

Highest stated percentage in every step: Skingenetix Complete Copper Peptide (GHK-Cu) Routine, 2% in a serum and two creams

Best budget routine: COSRX Blue Peptide Hydra Plump Trio, 0.5% serum and cream with a 0.2% mist

Best two-step premium routine, and the most generous returns: NIOD Copper Regeneration Set

Best for a gentle, low-percentage start: Peach & Lily Copper Peptide Pro Firming Serum with its moisturiser

Widest peptide range, though not a GHK-Cu routine: Medik8

Cheapest single first step: The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1%

Highest stated serum percentages: Happy Soul Organics, 4% to 10%, with no returns

Premium serum and eye pairing: Allies of Skin, with an ingredient list that needs a careful read

Our top pick: the koppā GHK-Cu Protocol

When we weigh what each step states, what it is made without, price and how easy it is to check, this is the routine we would choose. It is the only one of the nine where all three steps (a 2% GHK-Cu serum, a 0.5% GHK-Cu moisturiser and a 0.5% GHK-Cu balm) state their percentage and name Copper Tripeptide-1, the ingredient name for GHK-Cu, in a full ingredient list. None of the three contains fragrance or essential oils. It is not the strongest on every count: Skingenetix states 2% in every step, and COSRX costs well under half as much.

US$175 for the set, against US$190 bought separately. AED 640 in the UAE, against AED 710, with 5% VAT included.

Disclosure

Why you should trust us

koppā makes copper peptide skincare and nothing else, and we make the routine we pick on this page. That is a conflict of interest. The way we handle it is to show our working: every figure comes from the brand's own product, collection and returns pages, read on 6 November 2026, with a link to the brand beside each pick, so you can check any line yourself.

No brand paid to be included, and links to other brands earn us nothing. koppā leads three of the twelve categories in our scorecard outright and shares three; the scorecard names the leader of every other one. Where a brand's claim and its own ingredient list disagree, we say so and quote both.

Method

How we compared copper peptide routines

We started from the brands that AI search answers and buyers most often name for copper peptides, then kept the ones that sell copper peptide in more than one product. For each, we read every product page on the brand's own store for a copper ingredient. MEDI-PEEL was checked too, but its official store publishes no ingredient lists or prices, so we could not compare it.

Stated percentage in every step · Advantage: koppā and Skingenetix

koppā states 2%, 0.5% and 0.5% across a serum, a moisturiser and a balm. Skingenetix states 2% in a serum, a day gel-cream and a night cream. COSRX states 0.5% in its serum and cream and 0.2% in a mist. NIOD and The Ordinary print 1% in a product name without saying what it is 1% of, and Medik8, Allies of Skin and Peach & Lily state a copper percentage on one product at most.

Which copper ingredient · Advantage: koppā, COSRX and Peach & Lily

GHK-Cu's ingredient name is Copper Tripeptide-1. koppā, COSRX and Peach & Lily name it in a full, ordered ingredient list on every copper step. Medik8 uses Copper Palmitoyl Heptapeptide-14, a different peptide; Allies of Skin lists Copper Lysinate/Prolinate; NIOD lists Tripeptide-1 Copper Acetate in its serum and Copper Tripeptide-1 Palmitamide in its lipid. Skingenetix and Happy Soul Organics list their actives first and the rest separately, or by common names, rather than as one ordered list.

Range of steps · Advantage: koppā

A routine is more useful when each step does a different job. koppā's three are a water-based serum, a moisturising cream and a water-free balm stick. Skingenetix's are a serum and two creams; COSRX's are a mist, a serum and a cream; NIOD's are a serum and a lipid gel. No other brand has a balm step that states a percentage.

Fragrance · Advantage: koppā, COSRX and Allies of Skin

We read every ingredient list for parfum, fragrance and essential oils. None of koppā's three steps contains them, nor COSRX's serum and cream or Allies of Skin's copper products. Peach & Lily's moisturiser contains bergamot oil, Medik8's copper night cream lists parfum, Skingenetix's serum contains geranium extract, and NIOD's lipid contains vetiver root extract.

Price · Advantage: COSRX

COSRX's three-step trio is US$69.70 (AED 310). Skingenetix's three-step routine is US$145 (AED 533), NIOD's two-step set US$124, and koppā's Protocol US$175 (AED 640). koppā's 80 g cream is the largest moisturiser step of any routine here.

Returns · Advantage: NIOD and The Ordinary

NIOD and The Ordinary take back products at least half full within 365 days, and Peach & Lily refunds within 30 days. Medik8 takes products at least half full within 30 days. koppā, COSRX, Allies of Skin and Skingenetix take unopened products within 30 days. Happy Soul Organics accepts no returns.

A serum, a moisturiser and a balm that each state their GHK-Cu percentage, with no fragrance in any of them

Our verdict This is the routine we would choose if you will use all three steps. Choose Skingenetix instead for 2% in every step, or COSRX if price matters most.

Three formulas, layered thinnest to richest. The 2% GHK-Cu Serum (Copper Tripeptide-1 fourth on its ingredient list) carries ceramides EOP and NP, panthenol and five humectants. The 0.5% GHK-Cu Moisturizing Cream holds the peptide in visible capsules alongside 5% niacinamide, 4% squalane and 3% jojoba oil. The 0.5% GHK-Cu Balm Stick is water-free, with eight supporting peptides including Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 in plant oils, squalane and candelilla wax, and no tallow, beeswax or honey.

    Pros

    • The only routine of nine with a serum, a moisturiser and a balm that each state their GHK-Cu percentage
    • 2% GHK-Cu in the serum step, level with Skingenetix, behind only Happy Soul, and twice the 1% NIOD states

    Cons and things to know

    • US$175: more than COSRX (US$69.70) and Skingenetix (US$145) for their three-step routines
    • Skingenetix states 2% in every step; koppā's cream and balm state 0.5%, and no study shows a higher retail percentage works better
    • The set saves 7.9% (US$15); Skingenetix's saves about 24%
    • Unopened returns only, within 30 days; NIOD and The Ordinary take part-used products for a year
    • The cream and serum contain marine collagen, so the routine is not vegan

Why we put it first. A copper peptide routine is easiest to trust when you can see what is in every step. koppā is the only brand of the nine where a buyer can read a GHK-Cu percentage on the serum, the moisturiser and the balm, and the ingredient name Copper Tripeptide-1 in an ordered list on all three. The steps do different jobs: a light treatment layer, a daily moisturiser, and a water-free balm for dry areas, the neck and around the eyes. The research behind GHK-Cu on the face is a controlled trial of a serum1, which is why the serum is the step with the most GHK-Cu.

What it does not do: it does not have the most GHK-Cu per step (Skingenetix), the lowest price (COSRX) or the longest returns window (NIOD and The Ordinary). If one of those matters more to you, that routine is the better choice. How to use the Protocol, morning and night.

Check the label

Four things to check before you buy a copper peptide routine

Is the copper GHK-Cu?

Look for Copper Tripeptide-1 in the ingredient list. Copper PCA, Copper Palmitoyl Heptapeptide-14, Copper Lysinate/Prolinate and Copper Sulfate are different ingredients; the GHK-Cu research does not describe them. A product can be called "copper peptide" and contain one of these instead.

What does the percentage measure?

A percentage of pure GHK-Cu, of a peptide complex and of a supplier solution can describe very different amounts. "1%" in a product name with no explanation, as at NIOD and The Ordinary, cannot be compared with a percentage stated as GHK-Cu.

Does every step state one?

Several brands state a percentage on the serum and none on the cream or balm. If you are buying a routine for its copper peptide, check each step, not just the hero product.

Does the claim match the ingredient list?

Read the list itself. On 6 November 2026, one serum claimed a "1% Copper Tripeptide Complex" with no Copper Tripeptide-1 in its list, and two brands that say their products contain no fragrance list an essential oil or an aromatic botanical.

Do you need a whole copper peptide routine?

No. One copper peptide step is enough to start, and a routine only makes sense if you will use every step. If you choose one, choose the serum: the one controlled facial trial of GHK-Cu tested a serum1, and in most routines it is the step with the most copper peptide. A moisturiser step adds ingredients with their own human evidence, such as 5% niacinamide45; a balm step is for dry areas, the neck and around the eyes.

Look elsewhere if you want the most copper peptide in every step (Skingenetix), the lowest price (COSRX), or the option to return a part-used product (NIOD, The Ordinary or Peach & Lily). Daily sunscreen does more for visible skin ageing than any routine on this page, and every brand here says to wear it in the morning.

How to use the koppā Protocol

Thinnest to richest, after cleansing. Use one step or all three.

  1. 01

    1. Serum: 2% GHK-Cu

Press 3 to 4 drops into clean, dry skin on the face and neck, morning and evening. Let it settle.

  2. 02

    2. Moisturizing Cream: 0.5% GHK-Cu

Massage a pea-to-almond-sized amount over the serum until the blue capsules disperse.

  3. 03

    3. Balm Stick: 0.5% GHK-Cu

Glide over dry areas, the neck or around the eyes as the last step, or on its own through the day.

  4. 04

    Morning: finish with sunscreen

SPF 30 or higher. Keep exfoliating acids, retinoids and low-pH vitamin C at the other end of the day, and patch test anything new6.

Which brands

Brands most often named for copper peptides by AI search answers and buyers, that sell copper peptide in more than one product, plus The Ordinary for comparison.

A routine needs more than one step. MEDI-PEEL was checked but publishes no ingredient lists or prices on its official store.

Every product

Every product page in each brand's store, read for a copper ingredient in its ingredient list.

So a copper step sold under another name is not missed.

Copper ingredient

The copper ingredient exactly as written in the ingredient list.

Copper Tripeptide-1 is GHK-Cu; other copper ingredients are different molecules.

Stated percentage

What the brand states, quoted, and what it says the figure measures.

A percentage of a complex and of GHK-Cu can describe different amounts.

Fragrance

Parfum, fragrance, essential oils and aromatic botanicals in the ingredient list, read alongside the brand's claim.

Fragrance is the commonest cosmetic allergen; a claim and a list can disagree.

Price

The brand's set price, or its copper products added together; US list price and, where shown, the brand's own AED price.

A consistent basis; we do not convert currencies.

Returns

The brand's own returns policy, the same day.

The real risk of trying a routine.

FAQ

Questions about copper peptide routines

What is the best copper peptide skincare routine?

For a complete routine, at the time of writing, we pick koppā's GHK-Cu Protocol, which we make: a 2% GHK-Cu serum, a 0.5% GHK-Cu moisturiser and a 0.5% GHK-Cu balm stick, each stating its percentage, with no fragrance in any step. For the highest stated percentage in every step, Skingenetix (2% in a serum and two creams); for the lowest price, COSRX's Blue Peptide trio.

Which brand sells a complete copper peptide routine?

Of nine brands checked on 6 November 2026, three state a copper percentage in more than one step: koppā (serum, moisturiser and balm), Skingenetix (serum, day cream and night cream) and COSRX (mist, serum and cream). NIOD sells a serum and a lipid gel; Peach & Lily a serum and moisturiser, with a percentage on the serum only. The Ordinary sells one copper product.

Is Medik8 a copper peptide brand?

Medik8 has the widest peptide range we checked, but it is not a GHK-Cu routine. Its copper products use Copper Palmitoyl Heptapeptide-14, a different peptide, with no copper percentage stated, and it no longer sells Copper PCA Peptides.

Which copper peptide routine has the highest percentage?

Per step, Skingenetix states 2% in all three of its products. koppā states 2% in its serum and 0.5% in its cream and balm. Happy Soul Organics states the highest serum percentages, 4% to 10%, but none on its balm.

Is a higher GHK-Cu percentage better?

It has not been shown. No study compares retail percentages, and GHK-Cu acted on skin cells in the lab at concentrations far below any of these products2. A stated percentage tells you what is in the bottle; it does not tell you how much reaches your skin.

Is NIOD better than koppā for copper peptides?

It depends on what you value. NIOD's serum states "1% GHK-Cu" without saying what the 1% measures; koppā's serum states 2% GHK-Cu. NIOD's set has two 15 ml steps and no moisturiser, and NIOD takes back products at least half full for a year, where koppā takes unopened products within 30 days.

Do I need a copper peptide serum, cream and balm?

No. Start with one step; if you choose one, choose the serum, because the one controlled facial trial of GHK-Cu tested a serum1. Add a moisturiser or balm if you will use them every day.

Can I mix copper peptide products from different brands?

Yes, but follow each product's directions, and check that the copper in each is the one you want. COSRX's own vitamin C serum page advises against using it alongside its copper peptide serum and cream.

Where can I buy a copper peptide routine in the UAE?

koppā prices in dirhams with VAT included (AED 640 for the Protocol) and delivers across the UAE. COSRX, Skingenetix and Happy Soul Organics also show AED prices on their own stores. NIOD and The Ordinary's UAE sites price in US dollars.

Are copper peptide routines safe?

No serious side effect has been linked to topical GHK-Cu in the published research, and copper is a very weak skin sensitiser7. Patch test new products6, and choose a routine with no fragrance in any step if your skin is sensitive.

Is this comparison sponsored?

No. No brand paid to be included, and links to other brands earn us nothing. We make the routine we pick and say so at the top; every other figure links to the brand's own page so you can check it.
