Welcome to the Balm Stick

Welcome to Koppā.

Thank you for choosing the GHK-Cu Balm Stick. Everything you need to get it right is on this page — about two minutes to read, once.

You already own it. Nothing on this page is trying to sell it to you again.

Why we made this

One peptide. Dosed properly. Nothing else in the way.

Koppā started with one question: if the research on GHK-Cu has been settled for fifty years, why is it still dosed like a marketing claim?

So we made one thing properly. One peptide, formulated at the concentration the studies actually used, with nothing added to get in its way. No fragrance. No dyes. No filler actives. Nothing in the bottle that is not doing work.

Which means the formula holds up its end. The other half is repetition. Skin does not respond to intensity — it responds to being asked the same thing every day, until it answers. Three minutes, morning and night. That is the whole ask.

How to use it

How to use the GHK-Cu Balm Stick.

Amount
Two or three passes per zone
When
Morning, night, or both
Where
Face, neck, chest, hands
  1. Use it first, on clean skin, before your serum and cream.

  2. Press it directly onto the zones that show age first — the corners of the eyes, the lip border, the 11s between your brows, forehead creases, neck, chest, hands.

  3. Two or three passes per zone. The warmth of your skin melts it in; press rather than drag.

  4. Morning: let it set for 60 seconds, then layer SPF on top. It will not pill.

  5. Night: apply it over the GHK-Cu 2% Serum as a final targeted layer, or underneath the Capsule Cream.

The balm is anhydrous — there is no water in it. That is why it feels firm for the first second and why the peptides go on at full concentration rather than diluted.

What to expect
Days 1–7

Skin feels more hydrated and looks calmer. That is real, but it is surface-level — the structural work has barely started.

Weeks 2–3

Texture begins to even out. Most people notice this before they notice anything about lines.

Weeks 4–6

The change that matters. Fine line depth softens and firmness returns. In our 12-week study, this is the window where measurable results appeared.

Week 12 and beyond

Results compound. GHK-Cu sustains a repair-signalling environment for as long as you keep using it — and it fades when you stop.

If nothing has shifted by week six, the reason is almost always inconsistent use or applying to fully dry skin — not the formula. Damp skin, every day, no gaps.

The Protocol

Three steps. Each one does something the other two cannot.

The balm stick is the concentrated one. A full-face serum spreads its dose across everything; the stick puts a higher local dose exactly where lines are deepest. Target the deepest lines, signal across the whole face, then seal it in. That sequence is the protocol — and it is the same whether you own one step or all three.

Once the daily routine is established — usually two or three weeks in — The Flood sits on top of it as a weekly 20-minute intensive. It is an addition to the protocol, not a replacement for any step in it.

Questions

The five things people ask in the first week.

Can I use vitamin C? +

Yes — just not in the same moment. Pure ascorbic acid can interact with copper peptides and deactivate them before either ingredient does its job.

The fix is timing, not sacrifice: vitamin C in the morning, GHK-Cu at night. That single separation is all you need. Vitamin C derivatives such as sodium ascorbyl phosphate are gentler on the pairing, but the same split is still the simplest rule to follow.

Can I use retinol? +

Yes, on alternate nights. Retinol and GHK-Cu are not dangerous together — stacking them in one session simply adds irritation without adding benefit, and irritated skin repairs more slowly.

Alternate evenings, or run GHK-Cu in the morning and retinol at night. The same principle applies to AHAs and BHAs: separate sessions, or apply the acid first and wait 20 minutes before the peptide.

How long until I notice results? +

Texture and hydration usually shift in the first 10 to 14 days. That is real, but it is the preview.

The structural changes — fine line depth, density, firmness — typically appear between day 28 and day 42 with daily use. Our independent 12-week study (96 participants) recorded a 73% reduction in fine line depth and a 2.1× increase in measured skin density.

Consistency is the variable that matters more than anything else. Two weeks on and one week off does not average out — it resets.

How should I store it? +

Cool, dry, out of direct sunlight, cap closed. GHK-Cu is sensitive to heat and light, so the three places to avoid are the bathroom windowsill, the shelf inside the shower, and the glovebox of a hot car.

It does not need refrigeration. A drawer or a closed cabinet is ideal. If the blue deepens slightly over the life of the bottle, that is the copper complex behaving normally — not a fault.

What about SPF? +

Always compatible, and always last. Apply your Koppā steps first, give them a minute to absorb, then SPF as the final morning layer.

They are a pair rather than a choice: GHK-Cu repairs accumulated photodamage, SPF stops you adding more to the pile. Using one without the other is doing half the work.

Can I use the Balm Stick on my body? +

Yes — it was sized for it. At 20g it holds more than twice the product of a typical peptide stick, which makes daily use on the neck, chest, décolletage and hands practical rather than precious. Anywhere skin creases or thins, the stick works the same way it does on the face.

Optional

If you want the mechanism, not just the method.

GHK-Cu is a tripeptide your own body makes. Plasma levels sit around 200 ng/mL at twenty and fall to roughly 80 ng/mL by sixty — and the decline tracks almost exactly with the loss of skin's ability to repair itself. Applied topically at clinical concentration, it restores that signalling environment rather than imitating its effects.

That is the short version. The studies, the dosing rationale and the full clinical results are published in one place — no gate, no email required.

Come back on day 28

Around day 28, you will have enough of a view to say something useful about the balm stick. Not before — an honest review needs a result to describe, and the result takes four weeks. We will send a reminder when you get there.

If something is not working, tell us that instead. It is more useful to us than a good review, and we would rather fix it than be praised.
